Holiday Baptisms

If you have questions about salvation or baptism, or would like to schedule your baptism, send an email to James

December 24 & 31, 2017

The word holiday came from two words = holy + day. While every day that we live for Jesus is a holy day, we know that “the holidays” is a special time for us. If you’ve given your life to Jesus, consider getting baptized this holiday season. We’ll have two special days of baptism:

  • Christmas Eve :: Dec. 24 :: Sunday :: 9:00, 10:15, 11:30am
  • New Years Eve :: Jan. 31 :: Sunday :: 9:00, 10:15, 11:30am
Christian baptism illustrates the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. At the same time, it also illustrates our death to sin and new life in Christ. The Bible says that when a person gives their life to Jesus, he dies to sin (Romans 6:11) and is raised to a brand-new life (Colossians 2:12). Being dunked in the water represents death to sin, and rising out of the water represents the brand new life that follows salvation. Romans 6:4 puts it this way: “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”
